The trade register, one search away.
TradeRegister.fi is a Finnish lookup website and free JSON API for official trade register data, built on Coragrid, source-linked company data infrastructure. Anyone can find a company and read what the register says about it, without an account.
Where the data comes from
Every record is retrieved live from the Coragrid public API. Coragrid reads official trade and company registers, keeps the source and observation time of each fact, and gives every company a permanent ID that stays valid through renames, mergers and splits. This site adds, corrects and infers nothing: you see what the register published, or a plain statement that a value is unknown, restricted or no longer current.
Coverage is the set of registers Coragrid has connected and qualified; a company that is missing here may still exist. For legally binding information, consult the register of the company's home country.
What the site stores about you
- The browser search form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile. When you pass the check, the site sets one signed, HTTP-only cookie named
tr_humanso you are not asked again for a short while. It contains only an expiry time. - When you answer the cookie notice, the site sets one cookie named
tr_consentholdinggrantedordeniedfor 180 days, so you are not asked on every visit. It is used for nothing else. - When you write in the chat, the site sets one cookie named
tr_chatholding a random conversation number, so you can read the answers. Your messages, the page you wrote each on and the email address you leave, if any, are emailed to Peetu and Mikke at Coragrid, who answer by replying to that email. If you leave an address, our answers are emailed to it too, and replying to them continues the conversation. Chat email is sent through Amazon SES and replies arrive through Cloudflare Email Routing; our own mailboxes are on Google Workspace. The conversation and the cookie last 30 days after you last write in the chat or leave your address; our answers do not extend them, and replying to our emails keeps the conversation going by email. While it lasts, your browser also keeps two notes in its local storage, which answers you have seen and whether you were asked for an address; they are removed once the conversation has ended. - Every page loads Google Tag Manager, which runs Google Analytics 4 in Google's Consent Mode. Until you accept, Google Analytics sets no cookies and receives only cookieless measurements of page views, searches and the links you follow, such as the page address, the search term, the time and your browser, with no identifier that links one visit to the next. After you accept, it sets its
_gacookies to recognise returning visits; choosing necessary cookies only removes them. Advertising storage, ad personalisation and ad data stay off either way. - Requests are rate limited per client address to keep the service available. Addresses are held in memory for that purpose only and are not written to a database.
The Privacy Policy describes in full what we collect, why, and your rights.
Free API terms
The JSON API is free and needs no key. Use it fairly: respect the per-client rate limit and the Retry-After header, cache what you can, and state that company data is powered by Coragrid where you show it. The service is provided as is, without warranty, and may change or be withdrawn.
The Terms of Service govern the website and the API in full.
